Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. About Sands Living

Sands Living provides disability support services designed to assist individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

Our support workers may provide assistance including, but not limited to:

  • In-home support and personal assistance

  • Assistance with daily living activities

  • Community participation and social support

  • Household support and wellbeing assistance

  • Transport assistance where agreed

Services are provided in accordance with agreed support arrangements and applicable Australian laws and standards.

2. Service Enquiries and Engagement

Submitting an enquiry through our website or contacting Sands Living does not constitute a formal service agreement.

Support services will only commence once:

  • Service requirements have been discussed

  • Availability has been confirmed

  • A service agreement or support arrangement has been established where required

We aim to match participants with support workers suited to their needs and preferences wherever possible.

3. In-Home Support Services

Where Sands Living provides services within a participant’s home, we aim to deliver support in a respectful, professional and safe manner.

Participants and households receiving services agree to:

  • Provide a safe and respectful environment for support workers

  • Communicate any health or safety risks within the home

  • Treat staff with dignity and respect

Sands Living reserves the right to review or discontinue services where staff safety or wellbeing may be compromised.

4. Insurance

Sands Living maintains appropriate business insurance coverage, including public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

This insurance is in place to provide protection in relation to services delivered by Sands Living and its staff.

Further information about insurance coverage can be provided upon request.

5. Worker Conduct and Professional Standards

All Sands Living support workers are expected to maintain professional conduct and provide services in a respectful and ethical manner.

Our workers are required to:

  • Respect the privacy and dignity of participants

  • Follow agreed support plans where applicable

  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries

  • Comply with workplace safety and service standards

6. Website Information

The information provided on this website is intended for general informational purposes only and may change from time to time.

While we aim to ensure information is accurate and up to date, Sands Living does not guarantee that all content is free from errors or omissions.
